Though this is not the very fanciest place to stay I didn't go to the lake to stay in my hotel room. It was clean, staff was friendly, there was a fridge, etc in the room and it was close to the lake and downtown. Oh, a ndDunkin Donuts was a really short walk away for a giant coffee in the morning. I found it to be an excellent value.

Well-located downtown St-Joseph and the beaches. They provided us with a breakfast to go which was not expected, but appreciated. The room is a bit old, but nicely renovated and clean with hardwood floor. Staff was polite and helpful.

Super clean, simple but everything worked well. Building and room appeared to be recently painted. No carpet, so floor is smooth and clean, too. Furniture has seen some history, but it's solid and well maintained. Bed linens better than in many more posh and expensive hotels. Well off the freeway, you can tell the lakeshore is close. Units open directly outside, like a real motel, so easy to unload and reload luggage.

I love that the staff were very kind and considerate for the most part. I love that the room was cool, clean and updated. I do wish the pool would have been open. I felt safe and comfortable.

Short 2 day stay in St.Joseph so we tried to cram a lot in, in two days, Roadway Inn was perfectly located to everything we needed. Staff was super nice and helpful to answer any and all our questions about their quaint little town. I would and probably will be staying again. Great bang for your buck!!

The staff went above and beyond what they had to do. I booked a king room that I thought had a couch in it for our grandson to sleep on. When they come out to show us to our room, they noticed our grandson, and upgraded our room to a 2 bed with no extra charge. They gave us fresh bottles of water and bags of chips. They showed us to our room, even helped with luggage and made sure we got into the room safely. Upon checkout they once again gave us water and chips. They were so very friendly, if I could rate them higher than what they have on here I would. Thank you for your generosity.

It was clean, spacious, and no dirt rugs. Went for a high school graduation, and the family needed a good night's rest before heading home and this was the perfect spot. There is Dunkin Donut, gas station, and a McDonald close by.

It is an older motel, but it is a very good choice, especially for the price. The room was clean, the beds are very comfortable. Parking is free and in front of the motel. The staff is very friendly! There are several restaurants in the neighborhood.

Huge and very clean room with big tv. Heating in bedroom area was cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable, one of the best we slept on our road trip. Bath water was hot enough for winter days. Plenty of parking spaces close to the rooms. Staff was very friendly! We arrived very late and he left the heater on for us inside the room.
